Creative residencies

Le Tapis Vert welcomes theater and circus companies and musical ensembles into residence for the creation of shows, recordings and rehearsals.

The support for technical resources and even hosting varies depending on the projects.
With the support of the Orne Departmental Council.

Le Tapis Vert is part of the RESARTIS network.

 

Access conditions :

Presentation of the project and if accepted, provision of stage areas and sound and lighting equipment.

The association covers the costs of renting space and equipment within the limits of the aid provided by the Orne Departmental Council.

Charges:

Electricity, heating, accommodation (in an accomodation).

The "Big top" (130m² track), the "Barn" (100 m²), the "Theater" (60 m²), the Ballroom (100+50 m²) and the 2 studios (15 m²) are intended to accommodate instrumental or vocal ensembles, dance or theater companies, yoga and martial arts practitioners, for rehearsals, training courses, filming, recordings or seminars.
The spaces are exclusively reserved for artistic practice or seminars with an artistic component in their animation: interventions by actors, musicians, etc.
 
The use of spaces is modular depending on the use of the lodgings.
Examples:
Cottage 310 + Barn For 7 residents
Cottage 121 + Gîte 266 + Cottage 310 Lodges + Theater + Barn for 25 residents
and with board + Ballroom For 40 residents
Marquee without accommodation: 50 to 400 participants

The Barn

12 x 8 meters. Chestnut parquet flooring with double joists on one level. 6.5 m at the ridge, 3.8 m under the rafters

Outdoor terrace 12x5 m, pine decking on the same level

Hanging poles. San Remo black velvet blackout curtains

The Theatre

The Big Top

The big top of the "Si Peu Cirque" Company has joined the Tapis Vert.
400 seats, 22 meters round.
Track with a diameter of 13 m (fir wood flooring).
Hooks at 9 m under the dome

Equipment: 20 landing mats
Aerial Trapeze Fabric
Balance Wire, Ball, Rolla Bolla
Juggling: balls, scarves, clubs...

Tent rental rates: €500 per day, €800 for 2 days, €150 per additional day.
Price varies depending on the duration and nature of the projects. A production manager is available (€250/day) if required (please contact us).

The Studios

At the farm: "Le Colombier" 15 m² with Yamaha upright piano
In the annex: "The Ballroom" 100 + 45 m2, fir parquet flooring, Erard baby grand piano
At the pension: “The living room” 45 m2, Rönish grand piano
At the guesthouse: "The Pleyel Room" 15 m2 studio, Pleyel upright piano

Studio rates with piano (Colombier, Salle Pleyel): €18 per day. Ballroom, Salon: €25 per day. Rates decrease depending on the duration (please contact us).

  • Microphones: 2 AKG C414 BLXII + 4 Neumann KM184 + SENN PM210T stands

  • Yamaha 01V96 mixing console

  • Mixing console: Mackie Onyx 1620 Digital output

  • Quad Speakers and Quad 404 Amplifier

Registration :

Sound engineering rates: Mixing console + sound reinforcement equipment: €100/day. Microphones: €10/day per microphone. Discounts available depending on the duration and nature of the project.

Lighting control:

  • 2 Stager 6-way dimmers

  • 1 x 12-way 5kW dimmer (marquee)

  • ELARA 12-circuit console

  • 12 PC and PAR spotlights (500W and 1000W), 1 profile spotlight (500W)

 

Lighting Technician Rates:
Control console + dimmer + 4 spotlights: €100/day.
€3/day/additional projector
